Sending money home for Christmas and New Year’s?
Allow extra time for delivery around the holidays.

The Philippines has many non-working holidays around Christmas and New Year’s, and new holidays are often declared at the last moment. Currently-scheduled Philippine holidays include December 24-25, December 30-31, and January 1.
Please check our Member Login page regularly for holiday delivery updates.

Please Note: There are only 5 Philippine business days in the two-week period between
December 19, 2009 and January 1, 2010.

 Ask remithome: Multiple Recipient Transactions

Question: What are the benefits of sending money to multiple recipients in one transaction? Can I send money to recipients in different parts of the Philippines? What if the recipients want the money delivered in different ways?

Answer: When sending money to more than one recipient in a single transaction, you save $2 per transfer. So if you use our standard Philippine Pesos service to send money to one recipient, the fee is $10, but if you send to multiple recipients, the fee is only $8 per recipient.

Convenience, Flexibility, and Choice

As long as your recipients are receiving money in the same currency and the total transaction amount is within your daily limit, you have complete flexibility in a multiple recipient transaction.

  • Locations – You can send money to some recipients in Metro Manila, and to other recipients elsewhere in Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao.
  • Delivery Methods – Choose Door-to-Door delivery, Bank Deposit, or Cash Pick-Up, whichever is most convenient for your recipients. And each recipient can have money delivered in a different way!
  • Amounts – You can send different amounts to different recipients. So you might want to send more money to your parents and siblings who have family obligations, while sending smaller amounts to nieces and nephews.
  • Reasons – You can send money to each recipient for a different reason. One transfer can be for a birthday, another for Christmas, and yet another for school supplies. And you can send each recipient a different 100-character email and/or SMS text message.

Here is an example of sending money to multiple recipients in a single transaction. Note that the delivery currency (Philippine Peso) is the same for all recipients, but the amounts sent, recipient locations, delivery methods, and reasons for sending money (as indicated in the personal message) are different for each recipient.
