We aim to be the premier provider of Internet-based, cross-border payment services to Asia, and be the service of choice among the Filipino-American community for sending money to the Philippines.
Management Profiles
A. Dennis Reis
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Reis has 20 years experience managing and implementing U.S. and international electronic payment systems. Before co-founding remithome, he provided electronic payments expertise as a consultant to the Federal Reserve, New York Clearing House, Philippine Clearing House Corporation, Visa International, and several Internet start-ups. Previously, Mr. Reis was the Head of Global Cash Management at Bank of America, where he was responsible for Treasury Operations, Liquidity Management, and Payment System Risk Management.
Jose Noel C. de la Paz
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. de la Paz has 25 years of investment banking experience. Before co-founding remithome, he spent eleven years with Bankers Trust Company, where he was Principal, Deputy Country Head for the Philippines. Concurrently, he was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Corporate Finance for Bankers Trust Manila Branch. Prior to his tenure at Bankers Trust, Mr. de la Paz worked at Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation, Bancom Investments, Union Bank of the Philippines, and First National Bank of Chicago’s Manila Branch.
Lavinia T.S. Hong
Vice President, Marketing
Ms. Hong has sixteen years experience in product development and marketing. Before co-founding remithome, she managed the product development and marketing for several web application companies. Previously, Ms. Hong led the development and launch of a number of successful new businesses at Bank of America, including implementation of its Internet strategy, online banking and bill pay products, telephone bill payment service, and an electronic Mexican remittance service. Prior to her tenure at Bank of America, she worked at Citibank and Crocker National Bank.
